(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
