Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
