Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
