Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
