۞ Tell them, (O Prophet): “My servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not despair of Allah's Mercy. Surely Allah forgives all sins. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Turn to your Lord and submit to Him before His scourge overtakes you, for then you shall not be helped. 54 "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Quran, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!" 55 Lest any soul should say: Alas, my grief that I was unmindful of Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers! 56 Or, lest it should say: had Allah but guided me, I should surely have been of the God-fearing! 57 Or say on seeing the punishment: "If I could only return I would be among the good." 58 But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers. 59 On the Day of Judgment you will see the faces of those who had invented falsehood against God blackened. Is not hell the dwelling of the arrogant ones? 60 But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs. 62 For Him only are the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who denied the signs of Allah – it is they who are the losers. 63
