Forgiver (Ghaafer)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ HaMeem. 1 This Book is a revelation from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing; 2 Who forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). there is no god but He: to Him is the final goal. 3 No one disputes the revelations of the Lord except the disbelievers. Let not their activities in the land deceive you. 4 The nation of Noah before them belied, and so did the parties after them. Every nation strove against their Messenger to seize him, disputing with false arguments to refute the truth. Then I seized them, how was My punishment! 5 The word of your Lord that the disbelievers will be the dwellers of hell fire has already been decreed. 6 Those* who bear the Throne, and those who are around it, say the Purity of their Lord while praising Him, and they believe in Him and seek forgiveness for the believers; “O Our Lord! Your mercy and knowledge encompass all things, therefore forgive those who repented and followed Your path, and save them from the punishment of hell.” (* The angels.) 7 Admit them, Our Lord, to the Gardens of Eden which You have promised them, together with those who were righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring. You are the Almighty, the Wise, 8 And guard them against evil deeds; whomsoever Thou guardest against evil deeds on that day, on him Thou hast had mercy; and that is indeed the mighty triumph. 9
