In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ha Mim. 1 A sending down from the Merciful, the Compassionate. 2 The verses of this Book have been fully expounded. It is a reading in the Arabic language for the people of knowledge. 3 A herald of good news and a warner, but most of them turn aside so they hear not. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are encased against that to which you call us, and there is a heaviness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us, so do as you will and so shall we." 5 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a human being like you. It is inspired in me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islamic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc. - see V. 2:105). 6 Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers. 7 Surely those who believe, and do righteous deeds shall have a wage unfailing.' 8
