And (make mention of) the day when the enemies of Allah are gathered unto the Fire, they are driven on 19 and when all have arrived, their ears, their eyes, and their skins shall bear witness against them, stating all that they had done in the life of the world. 20 And they will say unto their skins: wherefore bear ye witness against us? They will say: Allah hath caused us to speak, Who causeth everything to speak, and Who created you the first time and unto whom ye are now caused to return. 21 "Ye did not seek to hide yourselves, lest your hearing, your sight, and your skins should bear witness against you! But ye did think that Allah knew not many of the things that ye used to do! 22 That, your thought which ye did think about your Lord, hath ruined you; and ye find yourselves (this day) among the lost. 23 Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them. 24 ۞ And We appointed companions for them, who made what is before them and what is after them seem good to them, and the Word proved true upon them along with the groups of jinns and men who passed away before them; they were indeed losers. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
