۞ When the son of Mary is mentioned as an example, your people turn away from it 57 And they say: are our gods better, or is he? They mention him not to thee save for disputation. Aye! they are a people contentious. 58 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel. 59 And if We willed, We could have established angels on the earth instead of you. 60 It is knowledge of the Hour; doubt not concerning it, and follow me. This is a straight path. 61 Let not Satan misdirect you. He is your open enemy. 62 When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah and obey me. 63 Assuredly God is my Lord and your Lord; therefore serve Him; this is a straight path.' 64 Then the factions fell apart among themselves. So woe to the wrong-doers from the chastisement of a grievous Day. 65 Await they aught save the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly, when they know not? 66 On that Day close friends shall become enemies of each other, except those who fear (Allah). 67
