And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 and We chose them, out of a knowledge above the nations (of their time). 32 and showed them signs in which there was a clear test. 33 Indeed these people say: 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 Bring us our fathers, if you speak truly!' 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those afore them? We destroyed them; verily they were culprits. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for Our own amusement. 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Surely the day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
