The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
