Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
