The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 Therefore We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue. They may haply take a warning. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
