Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HA MIM. 1 This Book is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 2 Indeed, there are signs in the heavens and earth for believers, 3 And in the creation of yourselves and of the beasts that He hath scattered over the earth, are signs unto a people who are convinced. 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you with the truth; so forsaking Allah and His signs, what will they believe in? 6 Woe to every sinful liar, 7 He hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them. Forewarn him of a painful punishment. 8 When he learns about some of Our revelations, he mocks them. Such people will suffer a humiliating torment. 9 Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. 10 This is the (true) guidance; and for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord is the severest of painful punishments. 11
