Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Indeed, We have opened for you (Prophet Muhammad) a clear opening, 1 That God may save you from earlier and subsequent blames, and complete His favours on you, and guide you on the straight path, 2 And that Allah may help you with strong help. 3 It was He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers so that they might add belief upon belief. To Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth. Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 4 [and] that He might admit the believers, both men and women, into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide, and that He might efface their [past bad] deeds: and that is, in the sight of God, indeed a triumph supreme! 5 And (that) He may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the polytheistic men and the polytheistic women, the entertainers of evil thoughts about Allah. On them is the evil turn, and Allah is wroth with them and has cursed them and prepared hell for them, and evil is the resort. 6 And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise. 7 We have sent you forth as a witness and a bearer of good tidings and a warner, 8 so that you (people) may believe in God and His Messenger, help, and respect God and glorify Him in the morning and the evening. 9 Those who swear allegiance to you indeed swear allegiance to God; and God's protection is over them. Then whosoever breaks the promise breaks it to his own loss; but whosoever fulfills the promise made to God will receive a great reward from Him. 10
