Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
