Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
