And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
