It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 "Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah, then (both of you) cast him in the severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
