We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said): 'Of this you have been heedless. Therefore, we have now removed your covering. Today your sight is sharp' 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29
