Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 And those that lift and bear away heavy weights; 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 By the beautiful heavens, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23
