We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
