With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
