▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
