AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
