With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
