We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
