Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
