Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
