So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
