Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
