And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
