And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
