And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
