The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
