And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
