Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that live on it will perish. 26 And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination). 29 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 30 We will attend to you, O prominent beings. 31 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 34 There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves. 35 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 36 And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 40 The criminals will be recognised from their faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell. 41 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is Hell which the Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) denied. 43 They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. 44 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 45
