▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that live on it will perish. 26 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. 27 So which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 28 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth implore Him; every day He is upon some labour. 29 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! Ye will never penetrate them save with (Our) sanction. 33 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 34 There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 36 And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red. 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin. 39 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 42 This is Gehenna, that sinners cried lies to; 43 They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. 44 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 45
