▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
