The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 and serried acacias, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 And water poured out 31 and abundant fruits, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And exalted thrones. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For those of the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
