The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and spreading shade 30 And water poured out 31 and abundant fruit, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
