The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining face to face. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And spreading shade, 30 and flowing water 31 And abundant fruit, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virginal, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
