▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
