▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
