1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a book that is protected 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 Then is relief, and flowers and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
