▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
