1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is of those on the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
