۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
