۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
