۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
